School Holidays

Hi all, first and foremost sorry for the lack of posts. I have quickly learnt that being a mum of 4, and working during the 6 weeks holidays, is hard work. So a massive salute to all you working parents, juggling everything about like ourselves. We have managed to cram in lots of activities in between working, including park visits, play-centres and a little camping  holiday to Cornwall.

Blackpool

We managed a trip to Blackpool on one of the sunnier days that August had to offer, which lets face it, there hasn’t been that many. The children spent most of the day on the beach. Aren’t we lucky that the boys are afraid of rides and roller coasters. So we save a small fortune when we go to the seaside. That is a parenting win if ever i knew one!! A cheeky little Greggs kept them quiet too.

Heading South To Cornwall

I have always wanted to go to Cornwall, so we managed some time away from the businesses to have a week there. IT WAS AMAZING. We set up camp in our fabulous Teepee. Once you have been through the stress of setting up, in our case, in gale forced winds, the camping life is so easy going and laid back.

We went on holiday with my brother and his family. it was great to get all of the children together, our boys particularly enjoyed a fishing trip with Uncle Wayne. We explored the local towns and villages, including Padstow and Newquay.

The weather was very hit and miss, I think we got 3 sunny days out of the week. We definitely made the most of the these by visiting some of the most gorgeous beaches we have ever seen. The final night was spent having a barbecue on the beach.

Back To Business
