Meet The Accrington Aerials Team
Accrington Aerials has 2 new members so I thought now would be the perfect time for an update on whom we are. It is so hard to find dedicated engineers. Only last night Clive and I were discussing how happy we were with the team we have now. So its time to meet the Accrington Aerials Team, the oldies and the newbies.
First and Foremost
The main man. Our Clive, founder of the business. The brains of the whole thing. Clive is the boss of us all. (Hard writing that about my partner, he isn’t the boss at home, saying that, nor am I.) Clive puts in a ridiculous amount of hours in to make sure the business runs as smoothly as possible. It never bladdy ends. I’m ridiculously proud of what he has built and achieved. The knowledge that he has with regards to the industry is priceless. He has a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. The kindest man.
Hols
Next is meeee. Hollie, Hols to most. Mum to 4 incredible boys. Partner of Clive, the boss. My role here is to keep you guys and gals updated on everything. Love doing these blog posts, especially the personal ones, definitely my favourite part of the job. I also do the paperwork aspect, inputting invoices, chasing all the payments, which I hated when I started. I qualified in level 2 accounting and book keeping prior to working here. Can’t say i enjoyed it, so didn’t bother with any further levels. I am also a Hikvision Certified Security Associate. My absolute main passion is children’s fashion. If you follow me on Instagram, you will see how much fun I have dressing the boys.
Our Loyal Gaz
Ahhh Gaz. Gaz has been with us quite some years now, we definitely consider him to be like family. Such a genuine person. We have so many customers ring up and tell us how much they like him. The elderly ladies particularity like him. Gaz is a grafter, very dedicated and very loyal. All of our engineers hold a CSCS card. Whilst Gaz has been here with us he attended many training courses such as; Ladder Roof Ladder Level 1,2, and 3 course, successfully passing. He too is a Hikvision Certified Security Associate. Gaz is officially qualified to plan and install commercial systems.
Dylan
Dylan is my eldest boy, my first born. He joined us in December. Dylan is the youngest of our engineers. After attempting to do an apprenticeship, he found he wasn’t as hands on as he thought he would be. It was within the same industry, and he worked with us prior to starting college, so he knew the basics when he commenced work again with us. Dylan has already proven to be a valuable part of the team. He attended the Hikvision Course along side myself and is also now a HCSA. He holds a CSCS card, and when normality resumes he will be attending a working at heights ladder course along with our newest recruit.
Last But Not Least
Now this brings me to our newest recruit Damien, aka Damo. Damo is Clive’s nephew. He is a dedicated father to his two boys. Starting with us just last week, he has thrown himself right in there. I personally feel that he’s the final piece of the team puzzle. He brings many qualifications along with him. A CSCS card. Damien holds a IPAF card, recognised worldwide across industries as proof of platform operator training to the highest standard. Basically to me and thee, he can use a cherry picker. Which is great for our line of work, especially on the commercial jobs. Also in his catalogue of cards is a PASMA, this qualification is recognised in the construction industry for those operatives working at height on mobile access towers, such as scaffolding etc.
